Dr Kashif Sheikh

Dr Kashif Sheikh is a Gastroenterologist and clinical lead of Liver diseases at the Gold Coast University Hospital. He received specialist gastroenterology training in England from 2004 -2010 and worked at various hospitals including fellowships at University College London and Royal Free Liver Transplant Unit in London.

Kashif has worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Sir James Paget University Hospital (England) for few years before moving to Australia. He is a senior staff Specialist at Gold Coast University Hospital and a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Australia He is also a member of Royal College of Physicians, London.

His clinical interests are liver disease, Endoscopy and has presented work at various international gastroenterology meetings.

He has been involved in gastroenterology bedside teaching at various institutions in England and continues to do so for medical students of Griffiths and Bond university here at Gold Coast University Hospital. He is a member of Queensland Statewide clinical network committee for liver and pancreatic diseases.

Dr Sheikh is a visiting medical officer at Gold Coast Private Hospital, Pindara Private Hospital and Pacific Private Day Surgery. He accepts referrals for all hepatology, general gastrointestinal problems including upper GI endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
